Home of the Monarchs! Moore Middle School has been empowering students academically since 1966. We welcome all students with open hearts and minds. Moore Middle School was built to replace Redlands Junior High School. Its first full year of operation was in 1966-67. It is one of the finest schools in the San Bernardino County and prides itself on excellence. Moore Middle School is dedicated to supporting all students to become motivated to be accountable to the highest standards, have access to academic and positive social support, and rise to the challenge of becoming self-sufficient, college- and career- ready, life-long learners who respect and support their community. The hard-working, dedicated staff recognizes the seriousness of educating young people to be life-long learners and competitive in a global economy. The entire staff sees itself as a team in partnership with parents and our local community to provide quality, standards-based instruction for all students within an educational environment where caring for and supporting young people is paramount. All staff members recognize and model appropriate, dignity-building interactions with students with the students' academic and emotional development as a primary focus. The staff is dedicated to addressing students' needs and makes a tremendous effort to identify special needs students as early as possible and provide strategies/interventions to address the needs of all children. When I joined the Moore community in 2016, I knew I was home. I am extremely proud of the community of staff and students and the hard work they do.
